Julianne Grow Glisson
During her legal career, Ms. Glisson has successfully litigated both complex civil and criminal cases of a wide variety in State and Federal Courts including trial work and litigation for the City of Savannah. Ms. Glisson also practiced in the area of Family law for 20 years and remains an active advocate helping victims of domestic violence. her current practice areas encompasses probate, including, last wills & testaments, trust, and managing estates and related litigation. Her other areas of expertise include criminal defense and juvenile law.
In 2016, Ms. Glisson was appointed by the Probate Court of Chatham County as the Chatham County Administrator and Guardian in Savannah, Georgia. Ms. Glisson also assisted mentally incompetent retired Veterans as an appointed Fiduciary of the United States Veterans Administration.
Prior to her distinguished legal career, Ms. Glisson was a National Advance Staff Member for the White House under President Clinton and Vice President Al Gore. While in Washington, D.C. working in the private sector, she worked for the parent company of Samsonite, Culligan, and Botany 500 as she spearheaded international venture projects for these companies. Ms. Glisson was also chosen as one of the “Top 40 Business Leaders under 40” of the Southeast by The Savannah Business Report and Journal. She was peer selected for Georgia Trend Magazine’s “Legal Elite” in the area of Family Law in 2016. She remains an active community service worker and has 2 children with her husband, Robert Glisson, living in Savannah, Georgia.
