Malcolm Mackenzie III
Malcolm Mackenzie III is a trial lawyer with 37 years experience handling a wide array of civil matters including personal injury, wrongful death, workers’ compensation, employment and business litigation and white collar criminal defense. He has represented corporations, insurers and municipal governments as well as individuals. He is also a neutral (mediator) registered with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution.
Mr. Mackenzie is a graduate of Georgia State University and he earned his law degree at the Walter F. George School of Law, Mercer University. He is admitted to practice in all trial courts of record in Georgia, the Georgia Supreme Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Mr. Mackenzie is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Savannah Bar Association (past President), the Georgia Association of Defense Lawyers, Georgia Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and he served on the Board of Directors of Georgia Legal Services Programs. He is involved in several state and local non-profit organizations, including the Coastal Heritage Society (past President) and Chatham-Savannah Citizen Advocacy.
Mr. Mackenzie is married and has two sons. He enjoys reading, music, hiking, bicycling, canoeing, and other outdoor activities.
