Belen M. Wilson

Raised in Savannah, Georgia, Ms. Wilson received her J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law in Winston-Salem, North Carolina in May of 2022. Before attending law school, Ms. Wilson graduated from Savannah Arts Academy and then attended Emory University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Spanish. While in law school, Ms. Wilson was a member of the Wake Forest Law Review, which selected two of her comments for publication. Her final year, she was honored with the award “Best 3L Publication”. She also participated yearly in the Wake Forest Law Transactional Law Competition.  

Ms. Wilson focuses her practice in the areas of commercial and residential real estate finance, small business lending, acquisitions, development and leasing, business transactions and administration, and civil litigation. She is currently licensed to practice law in Georgia and South Carolina and has handled a variety of matters at the local, state and federal levels.

Ms. Wilson is a native Spanish speaker and enjoys every opportunity that allows her to engage with Spanish speaking clients. She is a member of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers and the Savannah Young Lawyers Division. In her spare time, Ms. Wilson enjoys reading, attending pure barre classes, and enjoying Savannah’s natural beauty.

Ms. Wilson is recently married to Weston Putman and is celebrating this new chapter as a married couple.
