A Savannah native, Graham W. McGinty has deep roots in the city he is proud to call home. Graham grew up in a busy household with his seven siblings before graduating from Savannah Country Day School and heading off to Kennesaw State University. In three years, he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance, magna cum laude, from Kennesaw’s Honors College and received the Accounting Achiever Award. During college, Graham engaged with his community by serving as a resident assistant for first-year students and volunteering as group leader for middle school students at Peachtree Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, Georgia.

After college, Graham earned his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law. During law school, he received the CALI award in Contracts II and an advanced certification in the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance and Tax Counseling for the Elderly program. Graham participated in Mercer’s Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic and partnered with United Way of Central Georgia to assist local taxpayers with individual income-tax returns at no-cost to the taxpayer. He also gained hands-on experience in the Mercer’s Consumer Bankruptcy Externship where he worked closely with experienced bankruptcy attorneys to prepare and file pro bono Chapter 7 bankruptcy petitions in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Georgia.

Graham is looking forward to practicing law in his hometown and is honored to be a part of a firm that has faithfully served the low country for generations. Outside of the office, Graham enjoys spending time with his wife and high school sweetheart, Elliot, their son, Mac, and their two cats, Louie and Stewie.
