Julianne Grow Glisson

Julianne G. Glisson’s legal background is multifaceted. Throughout her career, she has successfully navigated complex civil and criminal cases across state and federal courts. Her expertise extends to family law, where she served clients for over 20 years and remains a vocal advocate for victims of domestic violence. She was peer selected for Georgia Trend Magazine’s “Legal Elite” in the area of Family Law in 2016. Currently, her practice focuses on probate matters, including wills, trusts, estate management, and related litigation.

Ms. Glisson’s dedication to public service extends beyond the courtroom. In 2016, she was appointed Chatham County Administrator and Guardian. Additionally, she has volunteered her legal expertise to assist mentally incompetent veterans as a court-appointed Fiduciary for the U.S. Veterans Administration.

Prior to her legal career, Ms. Glisson served as a National Advance Staff Member for the White House under President Clinton and Vice President Gore. Her impressive background also includes experience in the private sector, leading international venture projects for major corporations such as the parent company of Samsonite, Culligan, and Botany 500– spearheading international venture projects for these companies. These accomplishments were recognized when she was named one of the “Top 40 Business Leaders Under 40” by the Savannah Business Report and Journal. She remains an active community service worker and has 2 children with her husband, Robert Glisson, living in Savannah, Georgia.
