Ms. Berland, a native of Charleston, South Carolina, grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated from Georgia State University’s Colleges of Law and Business with dual J.D. and M.B.A. degrees in 2023.

Prior to law school, she graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.A. in Classical Cultures. In law school, she focused on business and real estate law. She participated as a student attorney in the Phillip C. Cook Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic and was a member of the GSU College of Law’s Business and Law Society.

In her free time, Ms. Berland enjoys exploring the Georgia coastline, surfing, sailing, cooking, traveling, and studying world languages.
